If opting for our retro-fit side access containers, we can supply with either one or two door sets along the 40ft side, to either provide single or double access points along the side container profile.

All container doors are fitted with a steel shroud lock-box (for you to attach a padlock) and so represent a safe and secure option.

Our 40ft side access containers can also be supplied to include a range of options, including:

Used sea cans are in stock and available at all our locations across the country in various sizes and with different options designed to meet specific needs. Generally, all our used units are 10-14 years in age and may contain minor dents and surface rust. All of our used containers are built with CORTEN anti-corrosive steel and are thoroughly inspected to ensure they are in excellent condition.

Our 12 point inspection process ensures that all 40ft storage containers are watertight, structurally sound and cargo worthy in order to safely and securely store your goods.

It is 20’ longer and 1’ taller than the standard height 20’ insulated container to provide extra storage space. The container is built with an aluminum exterior that eliminates rust and a stainless-steel interior that is safe for food handling and storage. The container is completely insulated so it can be efficiently heated and remain that way at a reduced cost. It also features a nonfunctioning refrigeration unit.

Like all of our used containers, this insulated shipping container undergoes a thorough, 12-point inspection. This process verifies the container is structurally safe, has operational doors and is completely insulated with a water tight interior and water tight gasket seals.

The container floors are built with 19 plies of Keruing-Apitong marine grade plywood. The quality of this plywood surpasses that of regular plywood because it has a high density which translates to very low moisture content, preventing fungi and termites from attacking it. It is the reason why shipping containers are able to withstand frequent cargo loading and sea travel.

The 40′ standard height storage containers come equipped with 4 weatherproof vents for air ventilation throughout the container, 36” high locking bar door handles for easy access, forklift pockets for easy handling and a secure lockbox for maximum security.
